This publication presents a series of research works by drawing students and instructors at faculties of fine arts in Spain and Portugal, as well as articles by artists who explain how they work and discuss the ideas that form the starting point for their creative processes. The book seeks to create a platform for discussion and debate, while also disseminating research work generated in the university setting that relates to the work of artists committed to clarifying how their production fits into contemporary culture.
