CDAN opens call for applications for María Sarrate research grant

 
 

The CDAN has published the call requirements for the María Sarrate grant, which is aimed at supporting and promoting research and study of contemporary art, with particular attention to the Beulas-Sarrate Collection held by the centre. The deadline for submitting applications is 2:00 p.m. on 1 October 2008.

 
 

The specific purpose of the grant is to support research work and the critical study of contemporary art, with particular attention to the Beulas-Sarrate Collection. Work must be previously unpublished, and priority will be given to research projects related to the document collections held by INDOC, the CDAN’s documentation centre.

The grant is aimed at candidates with a diploma or degree in fine arts, humanities, art history, or library and information science, and researchers working in these disciplines, and may be given to an individual or a research team.

Proposed research work will have a duration of nine months, and the amount provided will be 6000 euros.
