Metropolitan Scape: Paesaggi urbani nell'arte contemporanea. Milan: Silvana, 2006.

This is the catalogue for an exhibition held at Turin’s Palazzo Cavour in the spring of 2006. The aim of the show was to take a look at urban landscapes through the work of some of the most acclaimed contemporary artists on the international scene. The city – a complex and changing element of post-modern society – can be looked at from a very diverse range of viewpoints. High-profile artists such as Hiroshi Sugimoto, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Thomas Struth, Gordon Matta-Clark and Bruce Nauman are just a few of those whose unique perspectives were featured in the exhibition, and the involvement of artists of this stature speaks to the ability of this catalogue to effectively address the theme of landscape.
