Horizons 2009: Art and Nature on the Sancy Massif |

January 16 is the deadline for registering art projects for Horizons: Recontres “Arts Nature” 2009 – Massif du Sancy, an event that will be held between July and September 2009 in the French region of Auvergne. The competition is being organised by the Sancy Tourist Office. |

Horizons 2009 is a cultural event and, most importantly, a long-term territorial project aimed at forging links between local cultural and tourism groups and actors.
The competition is open to all plastic artists, including both aspiring
young creators and those already well established on the domestic or
international scene. A net budget of 8000 euros will be allocated to

The
competition, organised by the Sancy Tourist Office, involves the
creation of 11 artworks for the Sancy Massif Community of Municipalities
(one per municipality, each by a different artist).
