Registration now open for ‘Landscape and History’ course

The CDAN recently opened the registration period for a specialised course entitled ‘Landscape and History’, which will run in Huesca from the 22nd to the 26th of June 2009. This will be the fourth of five courses focusing on the theme of landscape. This year's course will examine relationships between landscape and history. [+]

 

Art and Nature

Grizedale Forest Park

This sculpture park is located deep in the Grizedale Forest in Cumbria, a county in the north-west of England. More than 90 artists, including David Nash and Andy Goldsworthy, have created works for the park since it was set up in 1977. [+]

Exhibition of work by Herman de Vries at the Kröller-Muller Museum in the Netherlands

An exhibition of work by artist Herman de Vries will be held at the Kröller-Muller Museum in the Dutch village of Otterlo from 19 February to 7 June. The show is a retrospective of the Dutch artist’s work, which is closely tied to nature. Unity – Herman de Vries offers an insight into the wide range of techniques and methods employed by the artist over his long career. [+]

ArtParis modern and contemporary art fair gets underway

From March 19 to 23, ArtParis will bring together over a hundred galleries in what for lovers of modern and contemporary art has been a not-to-be-missed event for the last 10 years. The art fair encompasses a wide range of media: painting, sculpture, design, photography, video and installations. [+]

 

Architecture, Music and Ecology Meetings

Over the course of 2009 a number of activities will be held in Paris and the Swiss municipality of Isérables with the aim of relating the creation of music to nature. The Architecture, Music and Ecology meeting, organised by the AME Association (Architecture Musique Écologie), will take place at the end of August. In addition to this event, a series of other meetings, workshops and prize-related activities are scheduled for the spring and summer.  [+]

 

 

Activities for special needs groups at the CDAN

The CDAN, the Beulas Foundation’s Centro de Arte y Naturaleza, offers guided tours and educational workshops tailored to the needs of every group, with special emphasis on the groups that have traditionally run into the most difficulties when trying to access to culture and art. [+]
