Registration period remains open for ‘Landscape and History’ course

The registration period for the CDAN’s ‘Landscape and History’ course, which will be held next June, remains open. The quality of the course is guaranteed by the success of the previous three editions. ‘Landscape and History’ will feature speakers who have won acclaim for their work in Spain and internationally. The number of places available is limited, and applications will be processed strictly in the order in which they are received.

Anyone interested in taking part in the CDAN course has until June 12 to register. The fourth course in the Thinking Landscape series will run from 22 to 26 June 2009.

The speakers participating in this series of courses are recognised for their work on landscape at the national and international level, within their specific areas of expertise. They include specialists in landscape design, history, art, geography, land-use planning, town planning, and other fields. A list of speakers appeared in our March newsletter.

Registration

The number of places available is limited, and applications will be processed strictly in the order in which they are received. The closing date for registration is 12 June 2009, and the fee for the course is €250 (transfer charges to be borne by the student).

Students enrolled in first- or second-cycle studies at the University of Zaragoza or any other university with which the CDAN has entered into a collaboration agreement can obtain three credits from the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of Zaragoza. Students must sit an exam to obtain a mark for these credits.

Primary and secondary school teachers will receive academic and administrative recognition from the Government of Aragon.
