CDAN opens call for applications for María Sarrate research grant |

|
One of the aims of the Beulas Foundation is to support and promote research and study of contemporary art. In line with this objective, the CDAN is inviting applications for the second María Sarrate grant for research focusing on the Beulas collection and contemporary art. The deadline for submitting applications is 2:00 p.m. on 1 October 2009. |

|
The €6000 grant – aimed at candidates with a diploma or degree in fine arts, humanities, art history, or library and information science, and researchers working in these disciplines – may be given to an individual or a research team. The grant will be awarded based on the interest of the project presented, the academic record of the applicant, and other merits such as grants received, publications, prizes, etc. Documentation may be submitted in person at the CDAN art centre or sent by regular post to:

The
purpose of the grant is to support research work and the critical study
of contemporary art, with particular attention to the Beulas-Sarrate
Collection, held by the CDAN. Work must be previously unpublished, and
priority will be given to research projects related to the documentary
holdings kept by INDOC, the documentation centre of the Centro de Arte y
Naturaleza.
