New edition of the audiovisual competition Instantes de paisaje (Landscape Moments)

One of the aims of the CDAN, the Beulas Foundation’s Centro de Arte y Naturaleza, is to foster study of the relationships between art and nature. The Landscape Moments competition will select a maximum of 10 projects that promote audiovisual creation and the idea of landscape. The deadline for submitting projects is 2:00 p.m. on 30 September 2009.

Held in collaboration with Huesca’s Fundación Festival de Cine, the competition is open to all natural and legal persons who are lovers of the visual arts. Each participant may submit a maximum of 10 works.

Works must be in DVD format for subsequent single-channel or Digital Betacam projection. The competition is not open to video installations or other works that require any specific set-up or technology that does not comply with the exhibition format. Works that are not in Spanish must be subtitled in this language. The maximum length is 30 minutes.

First prize will be €2500 and there will also be a second prize of €1000. In addition, prize-winning and selected works may be shown in exhibitions organised by the CDAN within the framework of its programming or in connection with the Huesca Film Festival.
