Botánica. After Humboldt [exhibition catalogue]

The CDAN has published the catalogue for an exhibition that focuses on nature photography. Through the eyes of six artists, we are offered an insight into the beauty of plants and botanical science.

The exhibition, curated by Rosa Olivares, takes visitors on a botanical expedition via the photographs of six acclaimed artists in the genre: Manuel Armengol, Alberto Baraya, Joan Fontcuberta, Juan Carlos Martínez, Rafael Navarro y Juan Urrios. In their images, the beauty of nature is presented to us as a mystery, an unresolved enigma that has led human beings to embark on an endless study to discover its secrets.
