Lluís Hortalà exhibition at
the CDAN extended

A CDAN exhibition showcasing artist Lluís Hortalà will remain open to the public until Sunday, 26 February 2012. The show, which opened on 1 October, explores the theme of mountains in the artist’s work. [+]

CDAN participates in “Canary Islands 7x1000 Miles” workshop

The CDAN, the Beulas Foundation’s Art and Nature Centre, has taken part in a workshop entitled “Canarias 7x1000 Millas” (Canary Islands 7x1000 Miles), held in the archipelago from 24 to 27 November, within the framework of the Landscape Biennial of the Canary Islands – Towards another Reality: Tour & Tourism – Itineraries, Paths and Detours. Workshop-related activities will continue in 2012. [+]

Lara Almarcegui exhibition at
the Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Art

The Andalusian Centre for Contemporary Art is showing work by Spanish artist Lara Almarcegui in an exhibition session entitled Margin and City. The show opened on 27 October and will run until 12 February 2012. [+]

 

Romantics display featured following re-opening of
Clore Gallery

 

The exhibition Romantics, which opened at Tate Britain’s Clore Gallery on 9 August 2010, features over 170 key paintings from the institution’s collection. Works by artists such as Turner, John Constable or William Blake, explore the origins, inspirations and legacies of British Romantic art. The show will run until 3 June 2012. [+]

Botánica: After Humboldt continues its tour

The exhibition Botánica: After Humboldt is continuing its tour after a run at the CDAN last spring, followed by a stint at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. The tour is the result of cooperation between the Art and Nature Centre and Spanish Cultural Action   (AC/E). [+]
